Gayle Cooper

Became a student of Pilates in 1999, finding the gym routine tiresome and desiring a more challenging and interesting way to exercise. She found Pilates to be constantly challenging and a really fun way of getting around doing the dreaded and boring sit-ups. Her decision to become certified was initially about desiring to be a better student by having a deeper understanding of the work. As a teacher, she uses her own student “ah-ha” revelations to inspire and challenge each client. Falling short of being a cultist, she believes Pilates is the most elegant way to add birthdays. Gayle lives in Arlington with her husband, daughter and three bad dogs.

Ann Tassey

Ann has always lived an active life style from swimming, tennis, skiing, and long-distance running. After completing four marathons, a triathlon, and over coming many injuries, she knew it was time for a change. In 2003 she started taking Pilates and fell in love with the technique along with the mind body connection.  In a fifty-five minute session her strength, flexibility, stability, and stamina are all challenged. In 2011, she began her journey to become a fully certified Pilates instructor and completed her 600 Hours Advanced Training in 2011. She has five years of teaching experience and continues to take CED classes. In 2013 she completed a thirty-three hour yoga certification.  She incorporates elements of various techniques to personalize challenging workouts aimed to improve her students’ alignment and posture.  She inspires students to empower themselves and to take their strength outside the Studio.  When Ann isn't teaching, she loves to be with friends and family sharing a home cooked meal.

Lori Popovich

Became a student of classical Pilates in 2003 in an effort to heal herself from a chronic back injury she sustained from participation in high school sports. Overtime, Lori learned to initiate movement from her core/powerhouse, using the classical exercises developed by Joseph Pilates, ridding herself of chronic pain and compensatory weaknesses. She attributes a significant percentage of her full recovery to consistently and persistently doing Authentic Pilates 2-3x a week taught from properly trained instructors. Lori was so inspired by the results (increased strength, mobility, stamina, control, improved posture from proper pelvic & spinal alignment), as well as by the dedicated instructors around her, she decided to become an instructor herself. In 2008, Lori became a certified Power Pilates Instructor following the rigorous 600 hours+ Power Pilates Comprehensive program which includes Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced Systems. Lori also graduated from Boston College with dual degrees in Finance and Personnel Management.
